That is the old one.
Remove/disconnect from the old projects URL in BOINC and reattach the new one (your account already exists with the same username and password): https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/
Your settings should be changeable on the new address.

Thats the url I'm attached to now:

Computer: PBOYZTOYNP98732
Project LHC@home

General

Master URL https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/
User name STE\/E
Team BlackOps
Venue
Resource share 100

Still doesn't answer my question of why I can't edit my Preferences. it's at 100% right now & I have no way of changing that to something else like 50% or whatever I want it to be.

Why isn't there an option to set your Project Preferences like Resource Share. When I go to my Project Preferences there's no Option to Edit the Preferences ?

you have a credit advantage too from what i've heard...have never calculated it as i am not too worried about credits
==========

Most definitely you get more Credit at the CPDN Site for the amount of work you do & time spent doing it. I've run all the Projects at one time or another & when I do I usually throw all my Computers at it 100% of the time and run the Project 24/7 for at least 1 month or more to get an idea what kind of Credit they give out. Heres what I came up with by doing that for me anyway & with the amount of Computers I have ...

These are a Per Day average Credit Amount ...

1. Seti = 4400-4500
2. CPDN = 3900-4000
3. All the rest of the Projects are about in the same group ... LHC-Predictor-Einstein-Sztaki-Message all are about 2200-2500 range ...
4. BURP I don't know about because I haven't really run it enough & they haven't released enough work to do to get a true average ...

All though I like my Credit as much as the next guy it isn't an end all for me as you can see by my Signature I've gave all the Projects considerable Processing time. Right now I'm running SZTAKI & Message@Home & plan to for the foreseeable future because they both have 4 day deadlines so they don't conflict to much with each other if I give them both the same amount of Resource Share ... :)

If it's so Disgusting to you why don't you just go processes some WU's from another Project thats less Disgusting to you...

LB, I thought they were going to keep the Site open over the weekend to allow people to finish what WU's they had and return them, I came home from work yesterday with a mess of finished WU's & no way to upload or report them.

What are we supposed to do with them, just reset the Project or ???

should be doing the project with the highest debt
==========

That word debt is a pet peeve of mine Paul, why is there a debt, if I don't want to run a Project for 6 months thats my decision I feel. When I decide to run that Project again I don't feel I owe it anything because I didn't run it for 6 months ...

But the Client feels differently I guess, it feels I've been a naughty boy for not running that Project for so long and now wants to force me to run it ... Thats why I only stay attached to the Projects I want to run & I even suspend some of them to run exactly what I want to run & not what the Client wants me to run ...

I have had a host sitting there with no work requesting no work because (I beleive) my resource share for LHC was too high even though I had no LHC work.
==========

I find that quite normal for the Client, I have the same problem because I usually run LHC at a 99% - 100% Resource share setting. If I run out of LHC WU's I have to back LHC off in order to get more work from some of the other Projects ...

I've even received messages from the other Projects that there was work available but because blah blah blah (basically the other projects are telling me I'm not running a high enough Resource share for that Project for them to send me any work) ... Then as soon as I back off LHC I get some work from the other Projects ...

CPDN is by far the highest...look who is highest in total boincstat numbers its most cpdn some seti mixed in...they went from 75 credits per trickle to 95 now far exceeding all other projects ... believe the consistency of the #s allows it to outproduce seti by at least 3-5%
===========

Yes, CPDN gives a very good return for your time spent processing WU's, but you have to consider the amount of computers some of these people are running also.

Some of the people at the top of the total BOINC Stats have so many computers that they could run any Project and still be at the top of the Total Stats Lists.

Even though I've managed to stay in the top 200 Total Project Stats with just only 7 PC's through sheer consistency by running them 24/7 I still feel the little guy doesn't stand a chance. It must get very Dis-Heartening at times for some people with only 1 or 2 PC's to see themselves fall futher & futher behind the stats leaders at any project or even total project stats also ...

@Paul, you have always done a fine job posting things, and I always read your posts with interest to see what you have to say ...

only doing about 2300 Cobblestones a day ... I gotta do better than this! :)
==========
The main reason you are only doing about 2300 a day is because the LHC Project gives out less credit than some of the other Projects do for the same amount of crunching time ...

I'm the same way, I can only get between 2300 to 2400 a day here at LHC but at Einstein or CPND and some of the other Projects I can get between 3500 - 4000 a day ...
