However this morning I noticed I have a few failed LHC tasks, twelve in total, and three more failed ones awaiting upload, because a VirtualBox instance couldn't be created. Seems that some process updated VB to 7.1.0 overnight and the machine required a reboot to allow the update to complete. I haven't been able to track down what application installed the update, Windows event log not offering any clues. I also haven't had any new tasks, since the update, to see if I experience the potential issues listed in the linked thread.
