I usually also set Allow Network Communication to Always though, maybe that's the key.

I never set any network time restrictions in BOINC, if that is what you are referring to. Or is it a Windows setting? I am on Ubuntu.

I'm referring the to options under the Activity tab in the manager. I set them to Always to make sure my 24/7 machines are really running 24/7, even though I don't set time schedules.

This doesn't make any sense, but it's interesting. Zero in this context should mean no limit, if it truly meant zero then none of my clients should ever get any work. Zero is apparently the default value as that's what all my clients, Linux and Windows, have for both <max_bytes_sec_up> and <down> in global_prefs_override. I have no problems getting work as long as its available. I usually also set Allow Network Communication to Always though, maybe that's the key.

I realize the project somewhat in flux right now, but is this going to be fixed? It's been this way a few weeks.

Did you detach the project and re-attach to the new https-URL already?

No I haven't. I guess I am confused what the difference is between the two, or rather why there are two. I see my machine shows up on both sites, and I can edit preferences normally at the https site, so I will make changes there. Thanks.

Project computing preferences are totally broken. I am unable to select or deselect applications. First I have to click Switch View as there is no edit button at all, and then the applications are not there. I realize the project somewhat in flux right now, but is this going to be fixed? It's been this way a few weeks.
