i did get some work units, after an update and a detach/attach. now i get this message:

No work available (daily quota exceeded)

i donate cpu time to this project, do you want this cpu time? or not?

i can understand a database overload or other problems. in no way i understand a daily quotum.

from your status report:
"The most likely timescale for this shutdown will be from mid or late November, coming up again with the improved system in December or early 2005."

first of all i am not a user, i am a donator. you are using my cpu time.

i, in no way understand, you are closing down your project for so long.
you are promoting lhc@home, not as beta, but as a project ready for the world.
you made it possible for 6000 donators to donate while you do not have enough work for 4000 donators.

you go for 6000 donators, and then you go down.

it becomes a bit ironic, it seems like you think that cpu power on internet is something you can play around with.

i read on your homepage you get great and unexpected results. closing down for maybe 6 or 8 weeks might be a very strange solution.

i, as a donator, do not at all understand this at all.

i do congradulate you with the successfull results.
