LHC@Home is on Holiday!

Posted 6 Mar 2008 by rroonnaalldd Post: Whats up with your server? I tried since 3am in the morning to reach the boinc-server at lhcathome.cern.ch. Every hour the access is interrupted. 5pm my hosts says something about lost connection to server and/or check your proxy-settings. I pinged your server and get absolutly nothing. IP couldn't resolved is also not listed in dns. Your serverstatus-page is also a bad joke. Your Upload/Download and Scheduler is disabled since a long time but units comes and goes? IMO, seems to be that most government-based projects acts not as professional as it should be. Every business that acts like yours could normally close his doors and switch off the lights. I hope we will be informed what happened in the last 24hrs. |

Posted 10 Mar 2007 by rroonnaalldd Post: I've seen this but that is not an answer of my question. Sorry! What have Intel and AMD to do with claimed credits? I only know there are differences between Windows and Linux in claiming credit. [edit spelling] |

Posted 9 Mar 2007 by rroonnaalldd Post: I've found this results and was confused. Host_6031412 Host_180308 First host claimed more credits for shorter time than second? Differences between both hosts are only XPSP2/W2k and Boinc 5.8.16/5.4.11? Hmm... |
