1) Message boards : ATLAS application : What ATLAS simulations are we running? (Message 38568)

Does Theory use the same concept for the simulations as ATLAS and CMS?

I really like Theory for their statistics (I can easily keep track on the number of events being simulated...). ATLAS and CMS are sort of "blind" regarding your output, so you can't keep track beyond the RAC that BOINC gives you (which can be bogus since a WU could "finish" with the VM machine doing nothing).

All good here so far.

Is there a way to check how many jobs you've done (or simulations done in the case of ATLAS) so far without having to open the graphics within BOINC?
4) Message boards : Number crunching : Is this project still alive? (Message 27740)

It is indeed alive. Every so often I find huge batches of WUs on my BOINC manager waiting to be crunched. I run almost exclusively Rosetta and LHC SixTrack, with priority given to LHC due to its intermittent supply of WUs.

I used to love the LHC@home's graphics, is there any way to incorporate them back?

My linux box takes about 19 sec. to finish a WU. (On the client not the website)
(No errors, no nothing it just succeds in 19 sec!!)
Is this noraml??
