So, apparently they succeeded to create a miniature \"big bang\" inside the LHC. They collided 2 ions of lead, and the result was a gianormous collision with temperatures up to 10 billion (!!!) degrees. The universe hasn\'t known temperatures like that since 13.7 billion years ago, at the Big Bang.


The next test is said to be planned in 4 weeks. Meanwhile, they will analyse the data.



Does anyone know if this will mean that there will be work for us?
