It seems that the credit earned for doing your work units, is not proportional to the amount of time required to do the computations.

Why do upload speeds look like you are using 28k modems? Is there a bandwidth problem?

Interesting thoughts. Although some may disregard this line of thinking, I would say pursue it. Follow it from one point to the next. Develop your line of thinking and supplement your knowledge with some of the other "non-traditional" materials available. Do not be dissuaded by those who would simply scoff at your ideas.

I am really excited to be doing workunits now for the largest scientific instrument on the planet. I am trying to reconfigure the machines I have to get more work out of them. Keep up the good work. I am sure I have no idea how difficult it can be to operate such a machine. I hope in the near future to upgrade my computing capabilities to be able to do more of this important work. Try to ignore impatient people and realise there are some of us out here that appreciate your efforts.
