21) Message boards : Team invites : LHC@Home site, SETI stats come up? (Message 4449)

All,

Intermittently when I come to this site, and either click on the message boards or my account, my SETI stats appear/SETI message board comes up.

I can normally tell this will happen by the background colour of the site. If it is white normally SETI stuff will come up, but if it is grey the correct LHC info comes up.

Anyone else had this happen? I am currently attached to both projects with 80% set to LHC, and 20% for SETI.

Please outline the changes with this new version. Are these bug fixes? New features?

Afternoon All,

My crunches have been inundated with a heap of tunescan WUs. Just wondering why the sudden increase in these Uber WUs? (Not a bad thing, just wondering!)

Howdy,

Machine is not overclocked at all, running completely stock standard. I think it was just a once off, have never seen the error before or since.

Just wanted to post to let LHC peeps know that one of my machines had a Fortran error with a WU, and by closing/opening BOINC the issue was resolved.

I did lose a full 8 hours or so of crunching however.

As the title implies really:

What is the difference between a v64lhcpro.... WU and a v64tunescan... WU?

Obviously the tunescan is much larger as it has a to completion time of around 8 hrs compared to 25 min.

Thanks,

Scott
