5) Message boards : Number crunching : New computer database entry created on each connect (Message 14778) Posted 21 Sep 2006 by MAWilson Post: Yesterday, I was reviewing my account and discovered that I had several hundred computer entries, all duplicates of the three machines I have. I went through and merged them all. Today, I went in an reviewed them again to discover yet more duplicate entries, which I again merged. 10 minutes later, there were still more duplicates. I suspended all communication to the host, then, as a test, I allowed one computer to connect once and when back and checked. Indeed there was a new computer entry listed. Cheers ... MAW
