I also love this screen saver. If there was a way to make LHC always run on 1/2 my dual core and show only that screen saver I would. But we have to wait for CERN to go operational before I can even think about making my dream work. *sniff* |

If you feel this project is such a waste of your time, there are other projects that you apparently don't have issues with. Why not just stick with those. That is normally what a person does if they don't like something, they move to something else. I'm looking at the tasks this way: There have been multiple migration issues and the configs need to be tested. So if I am just running results to help with testing the hardware, I am fine with it. The high number of replicated tasks could easily be to check for patterns of errors. |

I got a new box at home (Yah!) and I tried to send myself my account key. No errors, but the email never arrived. I know that it wasn't blocked because the ones from all my other projects came through. I just reset my password, so I should be able to attach from home but it seems like your email scrip is still buggy. |

I am also curious why I didn't get any work. I have LHC set to 50% of my computing power (the other 4 projects I run share the rest) and am online + up more than 98% of the time. Is there something I should do to increase my odds of getting work? Please note this is not a complaint, just a question on if there is some way for me to boost my odds of getting work. |

I have to agree people are getting a bit worked up. Like I said before, I love the amazing screen saver. It is by far my favorite of the Bionic projects I run, so I miss it. When there is work I will get my visuals back; until then I will wait patently and crunch other projects. |

This is not my only project; I run SETIHome, climateprediction.net, Einstein@Home & Primegrid. But LHC has by far the best looking screen saver and for that reason alone I wish for more work! Geek chicks also dig particle physics... |
