I have done 44491 Milkyway@home tasks but since they were done under Science United I got no single credit, so I got out of SU. Tullio |

I have Sixtrack and native Theory selected, and am getting about 10 Sixtrack for every one Theory. But no problem with the supply now. I do the native ATLAS and CMS on another machine, which may help to avoid confusing their scheduler. |

All my Sixtrack avx are in pending state. Atlas and Theory all were validated. The quorum for sixtrack tasks is 2 so the result from another host is needed before validation. For Atlas and Theory it is one so they should validate very soon after you have reported your task (if all went well). ![]() |

Yes, but why they are 32 bit? Mine are all 64 bit. I mean that they all run on a 64 bit application. ![]() |

Yes, but why they are 32 bit?Tullio I guess it's pretty random which type of app the work will be delivered for if you run a 64bit processor. I fired up two old 64bit Xeon systems (they do not have AVX support). Running under Windows now: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10595951 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10598513 Both of them have received SixTrack tasks from all these types: SixTrack v502.05 windows_intelx86 SixTrack v502.05 (sse2) windows_intelx86 SixTrack v502.05 (sse2) windows_x86_64 Your i5-9400F also received and run SixTrack v502.05 (sse2) windows_x86_64 tasks on Monday. |

Yes, but why they are 32 bit? To avoid getting 32bit on a 64bit computer you may add this line to the <options> section of your cc_config.xml: <no_alt_platform>1</no_alt_platform> Then do a "read config files". Be aware that this setting affects all projects attached to that client. The average app performance depends on many factors. There's no guarantee that a 64bit app is always faster than a 32bit app. More info: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration |

This sixtrack batch seems big and consistant.... I wonder what are we computing now. HL-LHC tasks? FCC tasks? It's been a long time since we had such a long batch. |
