OK I think one ATLAS task is working know: thanks . In fact using BOINC is not so obvious and transparent. |

A few things from the log are worth mentioning. 07/08/2018 09:58:56 | | No WSL found.I honestly don't know what WSL is, this might be good or maybe it's bad, I don't know. 07/08/2018 09:58:56 | | max memory usage when active: 12257.42 MBYou might want to allow BOINC a little more memory. It depends on what non-BOINC apps you run and how RAM intensive they are. 07/08/2018 09:58:56 | | suspend work if non-BOINC CPU load exceeds 25%This is why you aren't returning any results. Increase this to at least 75%. I set mine at 99% and the system is still responsive with webbrowser and a few CPU non-intensive apps running. It depends what other apps you run and how CPU intensive they are. Try 75% and if your other apps are still responsive then maybe even higher. 07/08/2018 09:58:56 | SETI@home | Task 12oc08ac.4930.25021.11.38.13_0 is 344.64 days overdue; you may not get credit for it. Consider aborting it.Abort these SETI tasks. They are minimum 200 days overdue so there is no hope of them being useful to anybody and you won't get credit for them even if you complete them. 07/08/2018 09:58:56 | | Suspending GPU computation - computer is in useGood idea if you need the GPU for non-BOINC apps, bad idea if your BOINC projects want/need a GPU. LHC doesn't use GPU but maybe SETI does? Maybe that's one of the reasons all your SETI tasks are overdue? |

OK I think one ATLAS task is working know: thanks . In fact using BOINC is not so obvious and transparent. Right, not obvious and not transparent so I will give you a little additional advice to spare you some frustration.... Go to your LHC@home preferences and disable ATLAS. It is a very difficult sub-project to run and you just don't have the basic knowledge of BOINC required for ATLAS. Enable Sixtrack only and be aware that they do not always have Sixtrack tasks available. If you allow BOINC to run during the day then you might consider enabling LHCb and Test4Theory too but those tasks sometimes require 18 hours to complete and they don't like to be interrupted so make sure you have the "suspend if non-BOINC usage above x%" setting at minimum 75%. |

OK thanks, so we have a little job to do to help LHC, that's OK I can manage I was a computer professional. |
