I waited for the boinc 5.x stuff to stabilize, and two weeks ago, I upgraded to 5.2.5. seems to run ok, and not as clunky as the early 'boinc manager' clients. Threy're up to 5.2.7 now, and they seem to be fixing the smaller bugs.. so expect it to be kind of 'stable' in a couple of weeks. Summary: I'm happy with 5.2.x I'm not the LHC Alex. Just a number cruncher like everyone else here. |

Bionics works great with Einstein@Home - LHC@home and Rosetta@home and Seti@home and Predictor@home all need to talk to the Einstein developers or managers and find out what they are doing so well. I've virtually had zero problems from Einstein@home since day one. The rest of the Bionic locations need to take a lesson from these guys/gals! What should they be talking about? Can you provide a few more details? Gaspode the UnDressed http://www.littlevale.co.uk |
