Are you sure that is still the case? When my last wu completed, 8/8/2005 I didn't get the completion bonus that I had been seeing before. ISTR that "bonus" being a bug described somewhere.

whining? i just asked a question how i could configure my boinc so i could receive any lhc work.

I am not sure why you are not getting work. The "connect every" (buffer size) setting that works best is the shortest deadline divided by the number of projects. In the case of LHC@Home, if the deadline is 5 days and you have 5 projects on the machine, the "best" setting for "connect every" would be 1 day.

If and when it rises to 14 days, for example, then the setting would be higher.

On my machines I use 2 Days right now, and I do have work from most, if not all, projects on the machines. If you are running a 4.3x version or later of the Client Sofware, there may be times when you have no work from one or more projects on the machine.

The later versions of the BOINC Client Software attempt to respect your resource shares over the long haul. So, in some cases, it many not hold work from one project or another. THere is much more detail in the Wiki that does explain it better, look in CPU Scheduler.
